The new Field of Honor at the Veterans Oasis Park in Chandler features a spectacular field of light, topped off with a relocated airplane memorial.
On Memorial Day Americans remember and mourn those who have died while serving in the US military. On May 30, 2022, the new Field of Honor at the Veterans Oasis Park on the corner of Lindsay Road and Chandler Heights Boulevard attracted scores of locals and tourists with its one of a kind field of light. Many visitors wore patriotic clothing while visiting the memorial. Children could be seen playing hide and seek, tag and other games among light columns that are part of the Field of Honor. The memorial was opened on November 11, 2021. It is beautiful during the day, and stunning at night.
